Open access solar solutions or off-site solar solutions allow businesses and organisations to access renewable energy generated by solar projects located off their premises. ‘Open Access’ solar power through offsite Solar Farms addresses this problem by providing large-scale power through the grid, up to 100% of our clients’ needs. Open access solar solutions are advantageous for large-scale organizations who want to include a higher percentage of renewable energy into their energy mix without being limited by available space at the production sites. 

There are 3 different models to procure low-cost renewable energy using any of the below models.

• Captive

• Group Captive

These solar farms provide power to commercial and industrial clients on a captive basis.Open Access can be classified as based on the location of the electricity Consumer and power producer as follows:

• Inter-State Open Access: In this, the consumer and power producer belong to different states and need to follow Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) regulations.

• Intra-State Open Access: In this, the consumer and power producer, belong to the same state and need to follow State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) regulations.
