I&C Projects

MSAPL is also an I&C Service Provider. Presently, we are giving services to more than 7+Companies in Pan India.

Our solar power EPC- I&C Division is specialized in the setting up of solar photo-voltaic (PV)Power Plants on EPC or turnkey basis. It conceives & implements solar power projects from the initiation to installation and maintenance, using the best available components and cutting-edge technical solutions by relying on highly qualified professionals.

Installation & Commissioning should be considered throughout the course of the construction phase, however, most of the commissioning activities will occur following mechanical completion when the system is ready to be energised. The commissioning process certifies that the owner’s requirements have been met, the power plant installation is complete and the power plant complies with grid and safety requirements. Successful completion of the commissioning process is crucial to achieving provisional acceptance, the process of handover of the plant from contractor to owner

Commissioning should based on three main criteria:

  • The power plant is structurally and electrically safe.
  • The power plant is sufficiently robust (structurally and electrically) to operate for the specified lifetime.
  • The power plant operates as designed and its performance falls in line with pre-determined parameters.

Installation & Commissioning is most essentially a plan for the detailed outline of the project which including the layout, equipment identification, budget, etc. Obtaining permissions or consents frequently requires the system design. We have to do all the assessment of shading and initial solar PV plant layout. The procedure allows for optimization and usually considers where we prefer to choose a design that is optimal for the site, it is important to consider different design combinations and module sizes when choosing an initial conceptual design.

The following designs and specifications should be prepared after Site Survey & Pre-Engineering & this is an optimized selection based on the feasibility phase output, current availability and pricing factors are most important aspects for any project.

• Site Feasibility Survey

• Shading angles.

• Temperature and wind profiles of the site.

• Tilt angle, orientation, and tracking.

• Cable runs and electrical loss minimisation.

• Module selection.

• Inverter selection.

• Electrical cabling design and SLDs – Single line diagrams

• Grid connection design, including transformers and metering.

• Electrical connections and monitoring equipment.

• Other relevant Designs and specifications should be prepared as per earthing and interconnection to the grid.

• Production of a detailed site plan, including site surveys, topographic contours, depiction of access routes, and other civil works requirements.

•Calculation of solar resource and environmental characteristics, especially those that will impact performance of technical requirements (temperature, wind speed, and geological hazards).

• Module cleaning strategy.

• Operations and maintenance (O&M) requirements etc
